Brad Bettencourt's Platform
Fiscal Responsibility & Budget Reform
Based on his background in finance, banking, and as President of Dobson Ranch, Brad will be focused on fiscal responsibility. There were over $1.6 million in asset transfer errors found before Brad ran for the board at Dobson Ranch, along with other questionable financial decisions. He has worked hard alongside the other board members to right the ship there and he will continue to zone in on the budget as part of the legislature.
- Protecting Arizona families
Protect Children & School Choice
We need to protect the children and keep school choice. Brad’s sister and her husband took his three nephews out of public school during Covid and put them in private school. Unfortunately, Brad’s other nephew and niece are still in a public school where his niece has to go into her middle school bathroom with boys who claim they’re trans. They live in a state that does not have school choice.
Water Issues & Arizona's Future
Water issues will also be a big focus, as it is very important since we are in Arizona. Brad has advanced my knowledge further regarding water issues during his time at Dobson Ranch, in addition to what he learned during his previous experience in agriculture.
- Speaking for Arizona values
Secure Our Border
In regards to the border, Brad lived in Yuma and worked at a bank in both Yuma and Nogales several years ago. Living and working that close to the border gave him a certain perspective and it was very interesting to be down there.
2nd Amendment Rights
Brad strongly supports and will defend the 2nd Amendment rights of all law-abiding Arizonans. The right to keep and bear arms is fundamental to our Constitution and our way of life.
